ASICS FUJI TRAIL TEAM REPORT #24

 This is our 24th and final report for 2024. As we take stock, we must first of all congratulate our athletes on their incredible performances this year, but above all we must look realistically at our progress since the launch of this European group in 2020, built on the TEAM ASICS TRAIL France which had existed since 2009.
In 2021, we had 11 athletes from 5 countries who took part in 77 events and won 35 victories; 
In 2022, the group has grown considerably, with 38 athletes from 12 countries competing in 162 events, winning 91 events;
In 2023, there was a group of 43 athletes from 13 countries who took part in 177 events and won 95 victories;
This year, 2024, the group included 48 athletes from 14 countries, who took part in 198 events and scored 114 successes. 
We will continue our development in 2025 and immense challenges await us. Our ambition is to allow our athletes to express all their talents while respecting our DNA, which is the foundation of the ASICS brand: sound mind, sound body!

Andreu is coming to the end of a long 11-month season in Thailand, with a fine consistency at the highest level and no injuries!  

In the humidity and heat, this last race of the year was quite a bumpy ride. After leaving the shared feed station (km13 and km39), he was directed towards the wrong loop as he battled for 2nd-3rd place, the large number of athletes (50km and 100km races) making the situation confusing. After being edged out by three runners, Andreu managed to claw back 4th place in the end.

SkyRun Zim GOAT, 115 km ( real distance 124K) of steep terrain in Zimbabwe is a tough, wild race .... a terrain that Adie loves!
He won the 115km format and ended his season with a clean sweep of the African races, but Adie has a dream and a plan: to showcase his talent in European races !

After the cold and dark of the ASICS SAINTELYON, Antonio needs warmth, sun and speed!

 A fine home victory in this Corrida Saint sylvestre de Monover !

5000 runners  turned out for this New Year's Eve Corrida in Donostarria, which gives you an idea of the popular enthusiasm .... 

Sara couldn't resist taking part in the festivities and won the race on home soil with a fine speed .

The end of the year was all about speed for Quentin and Miguel in the highly competitive 10k in Barcelona, with a PB of 29.18 and 4th place for Quentin and 29.29 and 5th place for Miguel ... For any observers who still doubt the speed of these trail runners! .
